"Then the righteous will answer Him, saying,
'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You,
or thirsty and give You drink?
When did we see You a stranger and take You in,
 or naked and clothe You?
Or when did we see You sick,
or in prison, and come to You?'

And the King will answer and say to them,
'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch
as you did it to one of the least of these
My brethren, you did it to Me.' "

Jesus teaching in Matthew 25:37-40 NKJV

The Community Outreach of Boynton was founded in 1998 by David and
Michele Blackwell after the Lord placed this ministry on Michele's heart.

The outreach started with about 30 families being served each week.
A biblical message was given and then groceries handed out.
As part of the ministry, Dave and Michele brought several people
from the outreach to church on Sunday mornings. At the height of this
ministry, approximately 80 families were being served each week.

When Dave and Michelle moved to Northern Florida in 2007,
Dawn Terrizzi and Pastor Liberty felt called to continue and this
ministry became part of the Africa International Christian Mission.
Currently Dawn serves as Coordinator for this ministry.

This community outreach has been active for over 11 years.
For more than six years, the Church of God in Hypoluxo has been
very gracious in allowing us to use their church for the ministry.

Current Needs

For many years, Publix (through Palm Beach Harvest) supplied us
with meat, produce, dairy and other staples for the outreach. That
ceased in 2006, and since then we receive only bread and dessert
items from Publix.  While that is still a blessing, it produces a
hardship in serving those in need within our community.

On an ongoing basis we have need for the following:

Can & Dry Goods
Toiletries
Used Clothing
Household Utensils
Volunteers
Prayers

Over the years, the Lord has been faithful in meeting
the "needs of the needy" of Boynton Beach.

Our God is so good.

We also meet their spiritually needs by teaching God's Word, praying
and through counseling.   The Lord is blessing those that come weekly.

One of our volunteers joined us over six years ago.  Accordingly to his own testimony, he was a drug addict, and had been in many programs for help, but to no avail.  Through the Word of God preached at the Outreach and through the prayers of  many, the Lord touched his heart
to do a food fast which he had never done before and he did.
Today he is free from drugs and is now working.
Since then, he has been helping others through the Community Outreach.

Another participant was also a drug addict.
The Lord saved her through the teaching and prayers of the Outreach.
She is now working, has a car and her own apartment.

Besides those mentioned, many families are being blessed spiritually
owing in part to our systematic weekly Bible teaching for twenty minutes
before the distribution of food and the other necessities of life.

Thank You Lord.
